Florida would have to be dumb to say no to that offer.

So the panthers trade away key players for one solid panther and picks they have zero use for. Panthers decline. They have no use for any of the return

It’s not that good for them though. Why get rid of key players for one solid guy coming back. They dont need picks they’re competing

I believe it's an overpay, but I really like Luostarinen and if we can't afford Devon Toews, we could probably afford re-sign Forsling

It’s painful to comment on these trades but it’s more of the same and worse. What is the incentive for COL to do this? To give away 4 years of a top 4 dman in his prime for pending FA’s? For somebody that says they aren’t hell bent on getting Girard every ACGM you do has him being traded.

We just used a 2nd to get Ross Colton, you're telling me your GM couldn't use 2 1sts to acquire competing players.

Maybe but forsling and loustarinen are really good players. Better than girard and cheaper combined cap hit also.

Girard is a bit younger and signed 4 more years
Forsling better cap hit but UFA
Both top 4 LD

I dont think he signs for as much as girard. Forsling is also the better defender.
