30 wins?? Absolutely not. The defense is a nightmare and Vejmelka holds out for a trade.

They had 28 last year with 14 ot losses, they’re doing none of these moves and still clear 30 easy. Vejmelka isn’t requesting a trade, stop fooling yourself

Bubble playoffs, better than Nashville/chicago/st.Louis, and possibly Winnipeg. Not an easy victory any longer home or away.

The defense here is much worse than last year. It also doesn't include half seasons of Chychurn and Ghost.

I was joking that Vej holds out because that is a terrible dcore, with or without the moves.

AZ doesn't clear 30 wins this year. It's not happening without huge leaps from Hayton, Soderstrom and McBain. And even then, whose protecting Vej?

Durzi isn't bad and they still have Moser who the OP benched, Valimaki had a solid season from what I heard (edit: The Valimaki-Moser pairing was solid defensively 5v5, among the best and Moser's production looks like a young Chychrun's).

I think they just need to add a vet like Dumba and then maybe they end up in the bottom 10-15 range.

What, have you been drinking??!

How are the Yotes as of now better then the Blues or Jets??
Not sure they're really any better then the Preds either, disregard the Boeser add here cause its doubtful the Nucks would make that trade.

I guess the Yotes forwards if all healthy aren't that bad and they're goaltending is actually kind of decent, that defense is brutal though.

Would be better if Chevy did something to make things a little more interesting this offseason! I know I can't expect much due to geographical location but another bottom six add would be nice for some depth and competition.
The Jets were trying to sign Heinen last season and he's still without a contract now, wonder if they circle back on him, pretty decent point totals for a guy who's averaging under 11 minutes a game.

He'll be making a big mistake if he doesn't take advantage of this league wide cap crunch, if there was ever a season he might be able to sign some better depth pieces its this one.

Keep Scheifele and add a guy like Heinen and they'd have a better forward group then they did last season.

I’m starting to think it’s a rather perfect time to take a half step back, Dallas/col aren’t going to be caught in the next 2/3 seasons, so why not like you said use the cap to your advantage, and also possibly go find that next tage Thompson, the late first, that a hungry contender possibly giving up on, perfect sale of a retained scheifele, not to compare oreilly and scheifele, but possibly a perfect opportunity to fill that upcoming gaping hole. Tending can fix itself, even if they run out the clock on helly, I would get over it, with a few seasons of pavelec types til they hit again with an elite tender, but can’t win without a stud large defender or an elite 1c and see both as an issue going forward. I’m really liking the wing depth, and possibly the left handed dman, but centers and front line starter in net, rhd dman hopefully drafted and developed.
