thats a very optimistic take on Harris

but yeah the playoff window will start to open in 24-25. The quick rebuild of Hughes will start to show its result

Yes it is. I believe he will excel during 18-20 minutes a night this year and earn it. He's a super smart kid, he sees the writing on the wall and will do what it takes to find a permanent home.

I can't see them moving those 3 players

MTL will come in with almost the same line up in 2024-25

MTL will start to be competitive in 2027-2028

We are quite a few years away

We will be competitive way before 2027-2028. We were competitive for streches of the season Last year!

This team has been plagued by injury in the last 2 desastrous year... which helped the tank.

Without injuries... we would have finished around 12th probably.

I agree with the injuries, but Montembeault played over his head, I expect him to regress big time this season
We still lack of offense badly

Monty played great with a rookie Dcore in front of him... once that Dcore starts to lock up the Dzone... He will look even better.
I expect him to be pretty decent during his contract year... THEN regress à la Bennington.

Our young dman weren't the problem last season, the problems were Edmundson and Wideman. They were both garbage
And we had half the forward who can't play any defense at 5 on 5

The D was garbage last year... and it's normal that a young Dcore makes mistakes!

Hutson and Reinbacher will be playing in the NHL in 2024-25, there will definitely be changes to the lineup.
