Too much, and shouldn't be beyond a year for a D-man who'll only play when others are injured.

With Sekera injured to start next season, Gryba could be some use to Edmonton. That being said, he's at best a third line d-man with not a lot of value. He shouldn't have more than a 1 year deal.

He's basically Edmonton's pet. Gryba is fine as a 7th d-man, but even with Sekera out, I'd still rotate him with somebody else, as I don't trust him to play every day.

I had Grybka rated as the 8th best Right Shot D-man UFA between Clendening and Prosser smile. I always thought he was a decent 7th D-man, who would have a nice fantasy game every so often. I think he was on Tampa for a while, 900K its hard to complain about that. He is 6'4 228 so can provide some rugged protection for Talbot, McDavid, along with that cheap shot artist who spears people between the legs. I don't see why people want to give a guy a 1 year deal with such a low cap hit. Worse case scenario they can send him to AHL, trade him if not claimed on waivers, or buy him out for what like 600K smile? I think if sent to AHL if contract is under 925K or something like that it don't even count on the cap anyways. There isn't much out there for right shooting D-men UFAs especially with Vegas who might try to sign some only having Miller Engellend or so smile.
