You lose Lindholm, Mangiapane, Dude and Backlund and gain Guentzel,Konecny,Laughton, and Debrusk. D is worse, but still pretty solid. Win in my eyes.

Dubas would probably be more interested in Dube, Backlund, or Magniapane. Too much to pay for Lindholm to be 3C and doubt he wants to be a 3C.

Flyers decline, I would trade TK for some of that but not both. Trade would be:

TK for 1st, 1st, Zary which is a pretty solid haul considering Briere wants multiple 1sts and prospects for TK but then

Laughton for Dubé, 3rd, 5th which isn’t worth it considering they already turned down a 1st and a 2nd for Laughton which is a better offer than this above

Philly is getting pretty much 4 1st's in value, plus Dube has had better numbers than Laughton, albeit on a better team, and is younger.

Im assuming your talking about the TK/Laughton deal...there GOOD, but not 5 first round pick type good. Zary+Dube+3 1sts+3rd is ridiculous

I think that's a pretty good haul for TK and Laughts. Deal.

Its a pretty hefty pay for Hanafin but it helps get rid of Suter and should improve the d-line so I'd go for it.

Don’t think Boston would have any interest in Mangiapane and if DeBrusk gets moved it will be for picks or a center

We can agree to disagree then. That’s not really how it works anyway just because someone was drafted in a round doesn’t make them a first round value lol. I personally wouldn’t do this because I don’t think it’s enough. On top of that Dube could easily just leave in a year anyway and then we basically gave Laughton away for a 3rd and a 5th. I want futures weather picks or prospects. I don’t want 25 year olds that will just leave in a year anyway cause they don’t want to be on a rebuilding team.

Backlund is a fine player, I just don't see the Hawks paying for a player they don't need. Maybe another team would be interested though.

Hawks obviously decline. Why would they trade away picks for a 34 y.o. pending UFA?

Are you out of your mind on the Pens deal? Jake >>>>> Lindholm. If anything, CGY has to add. What a joke.

Exactly this!

Another fine example of not considering the needs and situation of the team you are trying to trade with.
