I would certainly put the Red Wings in as one of the rising team. They have plenty cap going into this season and next to strengthen their lineup immediately.

Not for another 2 years imo, they don’t have the star power, good depth tho
Minnesota: I don’t think they’re fading, they’re just stagnant
Pittsburgh: Impossible to debate
New York I.: Man they just haven’t been the same since those two losses to Tampa in the conference finals
Tampa: I’d say they’re still more then competitive, I still take them seriously
Winnipeg: Must in the top 3 for shortest championship windows in not just the NHL but in all of North American sports
Washington: Yeah but the prospect pool is growing because they wisely didn’t trade as many firsts as other contending teams so they could be back not to far down the road
From Giroux to Zub minus Chabot, you lost me... I meant star players... most of those aren't star players and guys like Greig, Zub, Brannstrom prob don't make the RW
Hard disagree on the Jets. Everyone is severely underrating them, especially if they have Hellebuyck and Scheifele. They are an easy playoff team as the roster stands now

Insanity. Zub is a top 4 Dman. Brannstrom has top 4 potential. Greig top 6 potential. Pinto and Chychrun are studs that aren’t going anywhere. Sanderson is already the best Dman, future top 15 nhl Dman in the league , never been so hyped about a Dman since Karlsson

Agreed, they could come out as the best team in the west this year. The Jets will most likely be terrible for a few years after this season however.
I could see MN falling this season. That Sweden trip really compacts the rest of their schedule this year. Any long term injury to any of Brodin, JEE or Kap could sink their season. The West is still not good overall so they works in their favor. If they were in the East I'd have them outside of the Playoffs pretty easily.

Theyre doing the right think tho, fading a bit but longterm its the right move as they have a very good prospect pool and trying to wait out the buyouts

Their prospect pool doesn't impress me. No top pair d-men, not top line (maybe not even a top-6) center, maybe 1 top line winger, and a stud goalie is how I see it. As an organization they are awful at developing anything more than bottom of the lineup players in the AHL. Soucy, Kahk, Kunin, and Tuch are the best players (that spent more than half a season in the AHL) to come though the "system" since the team moved to Iowa over a decade ago.
They've taken 6 LD from '20 and '21 draft classes (4 of them with top-65 picks and 2 overagers in later drafts). That's too much of a good thing when it comes to getting quality development time. This is the first draft I've been okay with since GMBG took over.
