These are super nit-picky points but:
1) You cannot retain salary in a trade and receive FC. It's disallowed by the CBA
2) Zero chance Ylonen gets more money than RHP/Pitlick/Harris, even with an extra year of term
3) I like the Pitlick & Hoffman for Mantha deal quite a lot. Habs have the cap space this year, but need the roster spots
4) Trading Dvorak makes no sense. Monahan cannot be trusted not to get hurt. We should start the season with 6 centers. It's a good thing.

You'r eright missed that. Ok, include a 7th round pick iff need be.

Point taken, but for AGM's I always over pay a bit in order to see what wuld be the "worst" cap space scenario. Hence him going at 1.5M$ when he may end up signing 950K to 1M$.

Thanks, and that's my view on the trade.

Going in with 6 centers is one thing, but I have no clue if Monahan will be able to play as of day 1; so if you don't want to take the chance, move Dvorak.
As I say in the description, worst case is that he does fall during the season, but you move up one of our prospects from Laval (Owen, Kidney, Maillet or Stephens) to give them time to adjust with less than 10 min of ice time during the games and send them back when he's healthy. If not, you can always check around the league and take in a 4th liner from any team at very low cost for a year, even look into those that are still UFA. One year contract and you're done.
Remember, rebuilding means you want to see what prospects can do for your team, you need to send contracts out to pick or sign UFA's but also want to end up low in the standings, yet provide time for your younger guys.
