I imagine it'll take a high pick to unload that contract which every team knows the Flyers do not want.

Can't Sanheim block that trade, says he has a NTC for the first 4 years and a M-NTC for the last 4 years of his deal, maybe he'd prefer Arizona though so he might waive.. 🤔

That is a big fat hell NO from AZ. The Little contract gives ultimate cap flexibility and that Sanheim contract is just a crappy as the OEL contract that AZ fleeced VAN on. No way even an unprotected 1st is worth 8yrs of that contract. You could ask for zero in return and the answer would still be (AZ just hangs up phone).

It's worth pointing out that most of Seattle's no trade clauses are M-NTCs, not full NTCs or NMCs. That's not as much of an obstacle as one may think. For example, Bjorkstrand didn't have the Kraken on his no trade list when he was sent here, at a time when everyone assumed Seattle would be on everyone's no trade list after their rough inaugural season. As for why Seattle has so many no trade clauses, that's mostly a byproduct of their roster construction. Since they are just two years old, much of their current roster arrived via expansion or free agency. Some form of trade protection is pretty common in free agent contracts nowadays, and many of the players the Kraken selected in the expansion draft had trade protection in their existing deals that they previously signed with other teams.

Pffft Sanheim won't have the value if Philly wants no long term contracts back in return. It'll cost them.

Sale and a 1st is a good starting point. The rebuild would be in full swing with Michkov, Sale, Gauthier, and Foerster. All trades can't please you, mate.

If the price for TK is a decent prospect and a late 1st we should just keep TK. Not to mention the retention. FLA’s pick literally could be top 15 maybe even top 10 this year. So ur saying we should trade a top 10 pick in the middle of a rebuild? That’s an interesting take lol not sure that’s how you rebuild.
