Description
I'm working under the assumption that all upcoming UFAS leave/get traded (Aside from Kylington because I think if he has decent season he is a lock to come back. I am not including any potential picks/prospects/roster players resulting from trading the aforementioned UFAS.

Vladar gets moved: I think its a lock that Vladar gets moved this current offseason if not during the season. They could run 3 goalies for the start of the year but if you wanna know if Wolf is for real before you have to resign him as an RFA, Dan has gotta go.

Wolf resigned at 2.2: No brainer, gets a Vladar contract and if all goes according to plan takes the starter job from Marky and basically inherits Markstrom's contract when it ends (6x6).

Dube: Provided he wasn't involved with any of that F***ed up stuff that went on with that Team Canada team, gets signed for 4.5x5. Dube seems like a guy who does want to be in Calgary, I believe he is one of a few who hangs out here in the offseason. He can play all 3 forward positions so you can plug him in wherever you have a gap. I don't see this type of deal aging poorly and even if it did it would be pretty easy to move.

Pelletier resigned: No brainer, if Pelletier puts up upwards of 20G 50P I think they should sign him long term in an instant no questions asked. I hope he does that but I'm working on the basis that he doesn't, in which case Pelletier gets the Dube contract until he can prove himself even more.

Ruzicka: Ruzicka is a strange case. I know that he and the organization are very committed to each other and depending on the opportunities that he ends up getting this proposed deal. When he was playing with Lindholm and Toffoli he was going crazy and was like ppg and then he got shoved down the depth chart and went pointless for like 18 games or something and then sat out pretty much the rest of the season. If Ruzicka gets top 6 chances and produces then there is an argument to sign him long term, if not there is no point.

The rest are just resigning of prospects

I realize it is pessimistic to suggest that no upcoming UFAs re-up with the team but I find it is just easier for me this way.

I realize I'm not running a full roster and that is because I don't wanna try and predict a Lindholm or a Hanifin trade and who or what be coming back in those deals because I don't really feel like getting yelled at right now.

Lines and pairings aren't final.

Did you leave out Jones, Emelio Pettersen, Solovyov, and Kuznetsov on purpose? Four upcoming RFAs who may still have NHL upside. Ben Jones could get some NHL games this season if he continues playing like he did last year and could be a solid 3rd/4th line C for a long time. Emelio Pettersen seems to have rounded out his game so he could be a solid depth player. Solovyov and Kuznetsov don't project as anything more than 3rd pair D but you do need those kind of guys.

Among upcoming UFAs I've read Zadorov is a big fan of Calgary so I could see him staying for sure.

I did resign Solovyov and Kuznetsov. Petterson I left out because I figured if they didn't give him nhl time this year that he would wanna try his luck elsewhere like Phillips. Not saying he won't this year but figure they prioritize Zary and give him nhl time over Petterson. I didn't even think about Jones. I do like Zadorov's chances of staying I just wasn't sure enough about it to put him on.
