Quoting: lowblocksniper
2 things
1) is Peeke really good and I just don't know it? Because he's a popular player in ACGM yet, Columbus clearly doesn't have him in the same regard if they completely retooled their defense this summer.
He's not much more than a 2RD/3RD physical shot-blocker, but he does stay healthy, eat a lot of minutes, block a lot of shots, and have a decent shot himself. He's also locked up on a fairly inexpensive deal for 3 more years and only 25. I'm not personally high on him, but that's exactly the kind of player GM's overpay for. However...

I would take that for Peeke as that's a fair value. The problem is I think we should be keeping Peeke over Boqvist because I rather take the shot blocker than raw offensive talent from Boqvist but that's just my take. Also keep the faith Arizona y'all are cooking and be back in the playoffs soon maybe just not this year.
...I think Peeke is redundant with Gudbranson, and "physical RD who blocks shots" is a lot easier to find than someone with Boqvist's raw offensive talent. I think trading Boqvist over Peeke would not only be something we regret in the near future when Boqvist blossoms, but would be selling extremely low on Boqvist (who hasn't been able to stay healthy, but has looked good when he is) when we could be selling high on Peeke (who won't ever play as many minutes again as he played last season, or block as many shots), especially when Peeke's game typically ages more quickly than Boqvist's and he's already the older player.
All that said, I'd take a 2nd for Peeke in a heartbeat, and a 3rd + 4th/5th would be just fine too. Arizona is going to be sneaky good this year, especially with the Cooley signing. They're going to be outright dangerous in just a couple of years.
