Thats not correct. He said he could see why guys shy away from signing in Toronto because of pressure, but also said he would explore it if the Kings didn't work out for him. Saying that no way LA trades Doughty for Nylander straight up. Wingers are nowhere near as valuable as a top flight offensive right handed defenseman. Nylander plus a 1st and a prospect would likely get it done.

Hyman is a top line winger the way Bozak was a #1 centre. Agree Kruger could come cheaper but doubt they will just dump him, maybe it's Rychel instead of Hyman or Bracco instead of Timashov. Kruger has more offence to slide up the depth chart than Boyle or the goat if there are injuries down the middle OR if they deal Bozak at the deadline.
Correct K1NG. He said he might like to after this contract is up. Can't really say it stronger than that while under contract. LA has cap issues, they might like to get out of a contract or 2. They DESPERATELY search for scoring at every deadline and offseason. Age and cap hit make this appealing for LA. Agree D is more valuable so might take a pick or prospect to get it done.
