Unfortunately Nolan Patrick's career is likely over, multiple concussions and migraine issues aren't something guys usually overcome.

Eller will be the teams 3c. Dubas already said that. Also I would rather target tatar than sign the always injured patrick. But I would invite him maybe just to be a depth player, maybe use him a 3c if he can prove he fits there

Gee, if a PTO player is your 3C, the Pens are in trouble. Is it just me, but the Pens seem way too many aging players on long term contracts. And few prospects on ELC on the horizon.

I’m a little too prone to making jokes that rub people the wrong way so I’ll bypass the attempt here but let’s just say Nolan Patrick is done for.

Maybe not sucking....but middling medicority. "My Leafs" for instance have a good team, but poor cap management and foolishly trading away picks and prospects has left the team barren with prospects and few Leafs have ELCs. Every year it's the same thing, hiring aging UFAs and trying to catch magic with them.

This would be good, if only he wasn't on LTIR forever and wasn’t near the brink of being forced to retire due to his migraines and other injuries.

Kid’s basically done for!
