Winger for RHD

Created by: Austin7f
Team: 2023-24 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 11, 2023
Published: Aug. 11, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I bet you one of the two deals happens over the next couple days. They might need balancing with late round picks but nothing substantial. Maybe someone like Rathbone is involved.

Nashville is more realistic to me since they could use a middle 6 winder instead of pushing a role on young players who aren't ready. The buffalo deal could possibly involve a 3rd team.

Both teams have the cap to take on the additional ~1.7 mill in cap. Beauvillier is young and still has upside too, could turn into a bonified top 6 winger in the right situation.

Buffalo has 9 NHL caliber defenseman and are super backlogged, Jokiharju could really benefit from a change of scenery, he has been on the trade market lately because of this.

Nashville has 4 RH D that all need to be in the lineup, scratching one of Barrie, Carrier, Fabro, or Schenn is bad management. Once again Fabro could benefit from a change of scenery heading to his hometown with top 4 opportunity would probably be his #1 choice.

Both Players play similar styles to Bear who meshed well with Hughes in the second half of the season, they had excellent corsie and 5v5 analytics.

I don't see the Canucks signing Suter without a deal like this in the works

Vancouver likely opts to keep Beau to see how he performs in a full season, or just flip him at the TDL with retention. Nashville doesn't have space for more wingers. I'd rather take a pick for Fabbro

Where EXACTLY are you reading/hearing that Jokiharju is in the trade market??

    This sounds made up

But NSH's young wingers do look ready for bigger roles. A middle six winger seems to be the last thing they need.

Even if they were shopping for one, I don't know that Beau would be their best option. Leafs fans seem pretty eager to move out Jarnkrok for cheap, to help with their perpetual cap hell. He produces at the same rate as Beauvillier, but can also PK and play center. Half the cap hit too. It's difficult to imagine VAN being able to move Beau in a trade that's beneficial to them.

They are over the cap though. The obvious choice is Myers but I don't know if that is realistic, he has a huge cap hit and it will be very hard for the Canucks to replace his minutes. No one is touching Pearson because they don't know the status of his health. Garland has to much term. Boeser's cap hit is to high, and anyone else is not going to get moved because they are either a core piece or just got here. That leaves Beauviller as the only option where your not giving up assets.

    Lolololol

ONE person who is doing nothing more than SPECULATING on Sabres players who COULD be moved before the season,
absolutely does not-in any way- mean that the Sabres have those players “on the trade market”

    Words matter
    And you chose yours poorly

Sabres are actually very unlikely to move Jokiharju,
    they like him a lot

I see your argument but you just did the exact same thing. Mentioning how they are unlikely to move Jokiharju and they like him a lot. That is pure speculation, you choose your words poorly, HAHAHA

Beside this entire website is speculation, enjoy losing one of your 9 NHL defenseman to waivers, bud you're a clown!

We’ll see who ends up being right
Sabres aren’t trading Jokiharju away, not unless it’s in a bigger deal

Name calling doesn’t help your argument
    It’s ok to grow up

Losing lyubushkin or bryson through waivers would actually be a massive W

Fabbro is already getting a change of scenery withour having to move teams. New coaching staff and half the team has already been turned over. I would think nashville just holds onto him instead of selling low or for non needs
