Nope. The Kings have less than 0 interest in Jake Allen.

If they're trading Arvidsson, it's because they want the cap space, so take out Allen and up the 3rd to a 2nd and the Kings might be interested.

You can’t beat Edmonton with Talbot and Copley as your tandem

Add Allen to that list too.

There's no need to solve that problem now. They'll move Arvidsson for the cap space, gain the pro-rated space as the season progresses, and trade for a significant improvement at the deadline.

Kings have David Rittich in case of emergency, and absolutely no use for Armia, Pezzetta or Ylonen.

And Allen and Copley would be an improvement?!?!?

Allen would help solidify that tandem. He was amazing as a backup. The only improvement I realistically see is getting Hellebuyck and for me, that would be a bad idea. Winnipeg will ask for too much and you don’t want to go all in at the beginning of your contending window

Ylonen, Pezz or Armia is just there for Ardvisson replacement. You can remove them. And yes, Allen over Talbot would be an improvement since Talbot probably won’t play for the majority of the season due to an injury. And have you forgot how good Allen was when he was in a backup situation?

The Kings have 3 backup goaltenders on one-way contracts that will be competing for starts this season. More importantly, they're all on expiring contracts. Have you forgotten that Pheonix Copley broke franchise records to become the fastest goaltender in LA Kings history to 20 wins?

Next summer when the cap goes up, the Kings will be shopping around to find a quality starting goaltender. Acquiring a marginal backup goaltender at an unfriendly cap hit for an extra season isn't something the Kings are interested in.

Honestly, the goaltender I'm interested at the deadline in is Kevin Lankinen from Nashville.

Have you forgotten how well Rittich played last season for Winnipeg while Allen, who has been in steady decline for the last 7 seasons except for the 2019-2020 outlier, stank? Allen played well in a backup role in 2020 and is two years older than Rittich; we'll stick with him if necessary.
