Buffalo doesn’t want Vladar. He’s just a more expensive Comrie that’s signed longer. The other pieces are also of no interest, and they aren’t giving up Stillman when they just acquired him.

Probably make the PHI trade from both sides if its just Sanheim and a 2nd for Hanifan, or one of seeler/attard and a 3rd and Sanheim (and IF they can sign him).

Sanheim is more likely to rebound than Hanifan is to re-sign for around 6mil or so in PHI in a growing cap.

Hanifin > Sanheim, but Hanifin won't re-sign in Calgary/Canada. He'd probably prefer to be in BOS, but I don't see that happening, so maybe PHI is close enough tp home and I do believe he'll sign for around $6.5mil/yr

Flames could use more RD Depth, so Attard is attractive and Seeler was just a replacement for Gilbert, but if we keep Gilbert we wouldn't need Seeler. We might have PHI take back Kevin Rooney, since we're up against the Cap already

Hoping Sanheim would be happy to return to Calgary and that he might excel playing back there

Calgary needs the retention and Sharks need a Young 1LD option. Duclair just takes a spot away from developing one of their Younger Forward Prospects who will be with them more long-term

Believing AHL Goalie Comrie is the same as Future NHL Starter Vladar is what's laughable. Comrie cashed in after finally having one decent year as a backup in WPG, but he's been terrible otherwise. BUF will end up burying Comrie in the minors and will be looking for another Goalie for sure

Stillman sucks, so go ahead and keep him. Only reason I took him back was for BUF taking Rooney off our hands and as a replacement for Gilbert who I sent to replace Lyubushkin's Physicality. I immediately flipped Stillman away anyways, so he's not an attractive addition

Where does Lyubushkin fit in after signing Clifton & Johnson!? I bet Lyubushkin or Jokiharju get waived and claimed for free, otherwise BUF will have to pay to bury them, so they might as well retain on and get something for them

Vladar blows
We aren’t looking for a “future starter” anyways, we have Levi
And Vladar is a mediocre backup, not a future starter

We might trade a defenseman
We might carry 8 & just send down Bryson

Congrats on having ZERO workable knowledge on our team
Wouldn’t take those guys you’re offering…. for free
They’re garbage, we have better
No thanks

Sharks are stacked at LD. Might be the only position we have some depth at.

If we retained, the Sharks would be 3/3 for their retention spots. They're not going to burn it on that package I'm betting.

Levi has a whopping 7 games under his belt, that's hardly enough of a sample to claim or believe he's ready to be a starting goalie or play 30-40+ games in the NHL

Good point on the retention, but other than LeBanc or Hoffman (who would be difficult to move for anything better), who would make more sense to retain on than Duclair!?

I feel SJ could really use an Offensive LD who can score more than 4 Goals and 0.15-0.25PPG is all

Sharks need a lot of stuff, but are pretty well set at LD for now. I don't think acquiring him makes sense yet since they're downtrending.
