Should Boston try for Frost

Description
What would it take for Philly to consider trading Frost? They haven't signed him yet, so wondering if he'd be available for the right price.
Obviously, money would have to go out, so a contract player has to go to Philly (Gryz, Forbort, Freddie?), but what else?

Should they? Absolutely. Could they? Probably not. I liked the idea of trying to swap Freddy and Frost with other pieces involved but that was universally panned here.

Could be a low risk high reward option. But, Danny seems to be putting a high price tag on his guys. I'd stay clear.

Frederic, Beecher, 3rd for Frost and a throwaway RW prospect. Lycksell? So we can have him and Lysell play together?

Isnt philly rebuilding? Im not sure why theyd willingly trade frost without a major overpay.

Think it would probably take an overpay for us to move Frost, which probably isnt too smart for Boston to do. He's young, Briere loves him, the locker room loves him, and he was very very good in the 2nd half of last year.

Fun fact: Before Briere was GM, Frost was gonna change his number (from 48, Danny's old number) out of respect but Danny told him to keep it

This is it right here. Frost is more valuable to the flyers than to other teams probably so it would take an overpayment to move him that no team should be willing to pay for him

This probably isn’t even close. A career 3rd/4th liner, a decent prospect, and mid round pick isn’t going to even get Danny to pick up the phone

BOS would be better served to see what Couturier looks like in camp/pre-season than thinking about frost.

Can't see them trading Frost for now at least. Frosts agent has a history of prolonging contract negotiations.

Briere really likes Frost and his potential from what I've read and heard, I think they really want to see another year out of him before making a decison because there is nobody currenly pushing Frost out of his Top 6 role, If they draft one of the top centers next year and Couturier proves to be in his past form, I think they could explore trade options.

Too add to this, Frost put up 60 point pace in the second half of the year and was one of the best Even Strength scorers during that time, honestly he rarely got a good enough looks on the PowerPlay, and the Flyers power play sucks to begin with, if they can improve that that's a lot of point potential Frost could get next year as a distributor.
