Sorry - that deal does not make me happy nor make me smile as a Sabres fan. I doubt it would for Kevyn Adams either.

Kudos for being imaginative though (albeit entirely unrealistic): I don't think there's ever been an actual trade in the NHL (or one proposed on ACGM) where 2 goalies are part of a package going to another team.

Hoping for extensions.....really totally impractical when making a trade.

The problem with the Sabres trading for Hellebuyck,
is not what we’d have to give up to get him,
it’s that Hellebuyck wants a big long extension,
and there’s just no way we’d do that

He supposedly wants 7/8years at $8.5mil per
I don’t think the $$$ is the big issue, but the length
We’d likely only wanna do 3years max
So i just don’t see any way we’d be able to agree on terms

And with no extension,
there’s just no way we’d trade for him
