I do not believe Chicago is interested in Gibson. Mrazek will give Chicago a chance to draft top 10 again which is the plan.

Soderblom, Commesso and eventually Gajan (35 OA 2023) are the Goalies of the Future in Chicago.

I could see Chicago bringing in a Veteran Goalie next year on a short term deal instead of rolling with two very young net minders, I just dont see that person being Gibson.

Ullmark doesn't waive to Ducks. Hawks certainly aren't giving up picks for Gibson. There were better goalies available as UFAs this season who were cheaper and the Hawks weren't buyers.

Keep dreaming guys, Bostons doesn't have anything we're interested in for one of the cornerstones of our rebuild unless McAvoy or Pastranak are put on the table, which we all know doesn't happen.

Didn't even have the decency to include a rhd or rw in this trade, SMH.

Hawks are the LAST team that would give up a 1st and a 2nd for Gibson. That's a ridiculous idea.

Seriously, think about others teams needs and situations.

Why would a rebuilding team like Chicago give up two high picks for a 30 year old overpaid, under performing goaltender? Especially when they have five goalies signed, two highly thought of young prospects in Soderblom and Commesso and they just invested a 2nd round pick on Gaian.
