We do not want Coyles contract

We already have 5+ guys that can play our as our top 3 centers right now and going into the future Coyle only blocks things for you prospects

Forbort for FC sounds good though

I think they’d rather keep Forbort instead of moving him for FC. And Anaheim just acquired Lyubushkin yesterday.

I mean you’re not wrong but Would you retain 1.25M for the next 4 years and move Armia’s 3.4M for the next 2 years. I’d rather have Armia for the next 2 years personally.

Worst case they bury him.

The retention slot is too valuable and the habs are even more screwed if campbell gets bought out.

It would have to be a ridiculous overpay of a 1st round pick AND a conditional 1st if they buy Campbell out at any point. The move hampers deal making too much

Yep, you think I didn’t know that? Good thing one is a RD and the other is a LD anyways

Even if good for all teams, M NTC Ullmark and Coyle decline any trade to a non playoff team in the Western Conference.

Why is Campbell a horrible contract? He's played well enough to justify that contract in 4 of the past 5 years. And anyways he's a 1B, Edmonton already has their starter so the quality of their 1B is less important. They don't need to trade a 100-point forward for a better quality backup.

Nugent-Hopkins won't waive his NMC for Boston anyways.

Very possible you are right on the NMCs but Skinner is not a number 1. You won’t win a cup with Skinner and Campbell

Skinner is 24 and already one of the top-15 goalies in the league. He's a starter. And Campbell can play a role - he has a history of elevating his game in the playoffs.

Speaking of which, if Edmonton didn't believe that their duo could get the job done in the postseason, why would they target Ullmark? His playoff record is terrible. I'd rather go into the playoffs with Campbell as starter than Ullmark.
