The Avs would actually be wise to take Jarnkrok on; he's a great bottom-six player that can play all forward positions. They don't have quite enough space but they can send someone like Olofsson down to make room, even if he is waiver-eligible.

I'm torn on this one. I keep saying no to these Jarnkrok trades, but most of them have been for a 2nd rounder and this one with a 3rd going back is tempting. The thing that gives me pause is Kovalenko. Ideally he takes over that 3RW spot at the end of this season, and could we get good enough return for Jarnkrok at the TDL to justify this? I'm just not so sure.

Jarnkrok would be interesting, but even if we throw Olofsson back, we'd need another cap dump. If we get rid of/bury MacDermid, then maybe. For now tho, Avs decline, because we can't

I think it's still simply a no for the Avs on cap. Value is fine and if they could dump MacDermid off somewhere maybe I'd consider it.

Canucks love Joshua so I'd be shocked if they traded him after only a year
