why would CAR trade the UFA they just signed and give a 1st that makes no sense
why would AZ trade the UFA they just signed to get a 6th (they have a million picks already)
why would rebuilding CHI trade 4 1st for a 40yo D and 33yo C (I know he a still really good but) and why would tavares waive to go to CHI

these trades make zero sense

Why in the hell would you trade all those 1st rounders for 2 guys in their mid-late 30s that rack up a combined contract of $12M per. Plus by keeping all those draft picks and not getting better, you got a small chance of drafting Elite players like Celebrini, Demidov and Eiserman in the 2024 draft who would be perfect for Bedard during the rebuild phase. And wtf is that bunting/1st round trade for the 7 rounders. Lay off the weed kid, please.
