Biggest drop in points from one season to the next has been 45 points. I wouldn’t be surprised if this team beats that record considering they had 135 points last year. Getting less than 90 seems realistic.

If their goalies are lights out maybe they squeak into the playoffs?

I appreciate the vote of conidence, especially from a Habs fan. Disagree with your lineup through. Farinacci starts in Providence, Forbort and McAvoy have never played together and wouldn't pair. Gryz and McAvoy is a top 5 shutdown pair in the league. Greer won't make the lineup over Lauko or Boquist. Brown has no place on the 3rd line and may not even start the season with the big league. And Sissons is a 3rd line center, why would a team with 4 guys who can play 3C trade for him?

Tough call but I think the 3rd in the Atlantic and both wild cards will be up for grabs between the Bs, Panthers, Sabres, and Sens. Penguins take a wild card too.

I'd be almost sure a Rookie (Lysell, Merk, McLaughlin, Farinacci, etc) wins Greers spot. Even then the offense is brutal, but I can still see that defence and goaltending dragging them to a WC spot

I would prefer to have a young guy like Farinacci on the roster instead of someone like Greer. i think he could start thr season in boston if he has a strong camp. i also told myself that having Forbort and McAvoy then Lindholm and Carlo would equilibrate the defense. The problem with this Boston team is that there are too many players like Lauko Greer Brown Boqvist. some of them are going to play on the 3rd line and thats not what you really want. and for sissons he could really help. the center position is really weak behind coyle and zacha. you have geekie but i don't really see him being that 2C.

lets say you have sissons on the team.

Zacha Sissons Pastrnak

I thought I was the only one who thought Richard stays in Boston... as a Habs fan we saw him dominate in the AHL and perform well in limited situations wearing the CH. NHL speed, NHL shot... might be a darkhorse to crack the line-up.
