I’d think about it because of Zellweger being pretty close to a left handed version of Drysdale. Plus I like Liljegren’s analytics. I doubt TOR does this.

1) Zegars doesn't get 8X7.5M. Probably a bridge at 3X5.5M
2) I think both teams don't do that trade

Wow so you blast my thread saying it is bad offer then you post this. Drysdale is most likely not playing this year and will possibly never be the same. No ty for your injured player. We need to win not hope the kid recovers fully. So we get a 2nd pair defense and 2nd pick wow awesome trade very realistic.

Why isn’t Drysdale playing this season?

If Zegras gets a bridge Verbeek should be fired.

That's a hard, hard no if Willy is coming with an extension. Even without that'd be a tough sell imo.

Nylander coming with an extension won’t get TOR a better return. The reason they’d be trading him is because they can’t sign him/he doesn’t want to be there.

Well then I guess this is all for naught because he’s reiterated multiple times that he wants to be here and contrary to popular belief, they can afford to sign him.

Edit: It also most certainly would get them a better return. Allowing the team to work with the agent to ensure a player isn’t a rental carries value.

Seeing as Anaheim has no hopes/plans to contend this year, trading valuable assets for Nylander is a terrible idea.

If they are interested in him, they should pursue him as a UFA after the season.

They aren't ready to compete and should be patient. 2-3 years from now they will be knocking on the playoffs door.

I don’t think he gets traded either.

And allowing negotiations only nets more because of a bidding war if Nylander says he’ll sign multiple places. TOR trading Nylander only happens because they can’t sign him which then takes away TOR’s leverage.

He’s not making it to UFA.

If it takes 2-3 years to knock on the playoff door then Verbeek has really messed this all up.

Drysdale had a torn labrum. In terms any one can understand, his mucle on his shoulder got seperated from bone. It's a bad injury takes 6 months to year to get back from best case scenario. Wosrt case scenario the shoulder may never get back to normal.

Let's just say Nylander decides the least he will take is 9m for 5 years, now maybe TML feel for them that is too much , but for other teams they may be interested because they have more cap room. In a situation like this we know what he will accept then it is just up to him to want to go to the other team and accept the same terms.
