Offseason Mock

Description
Just a quick thought of what I think the Bruins could do.

Vanek comes in on a decent value contract and adds a true scoring touch to Krecji's LW. His touch might not be as good as a few years ago, but his goal total last year would have been top-5 on the Bs.

Bjork comes right in (barring an awful camp) and takes on Bergy's RW while Backes slides down to 3rd RW to be the veteran presence for JFK and DeBrusk.

Moore comes back with a slight pay raise to keep the 4th line together. They showed a solid chemistry with each other once Accari was called up, and think they could be solid over the course of a full season together.

Beleskey goes to ARI as a cap dump for the Bs and a low-risk play for the Yotes.

For the Scandella deal, the Bruins send Spooner, who no longer has a place in Boston's lineup, and Vatrano, a scorer who has the potential, but hasn't quite put it all together yet. I would send a mid round pick as well if Minn wanted more value.

Don't see that being enough for Scandella, especially considering Spooner really has no place on the Wild.

He doesn't fit their needs at all and is a really limited player. And the 2-2.5 he's likely to get eats into their cap savings from Scandella, which makes him even less valuable imo

I had actually thought that after the expansion draft, and the Wild losing Haula and Tuch, they could do with forwards? I had seen mock's that had the Wild sending a pick back to the Bs, for one prospect and a mid round pick. So I felt two offensive young forwards could be enough value for him. I would still give up a potential 3rd or 4th if the Wild wanted it.

And as I write that, Scandella has reportedly been traded to the Sabres haha. https://www.thescore.com/news/1326943
