The Hawks did get "people" for Berard, Hall, Perry and Foligno. That's enough for this season. Don't waste good assets adding iffy improvements.
Next season, might be time to add again, as so many teams are cap strapped, and Hawks will have plenty to make good UFA signings.

For Laughts alone you'd be right, but given Frost was added that is not enough. Granted the Flyers are only willing to move Laughts for a massive overpay.

Hawks don't do ANY of this. The only deal that might make sense for Hawks is the Washington trade, and Caps probably don't make that one.

Yup a 1st and 2nd for Laughton was declined but apparently a 1st and 3rd for Laughton AND Frost would be accepted? 😂😂 people should really research

Or we do none of this (other than maybe the Washington deal which I would honestly pass on too) and let Bedard play with one or two of Rychel, Hall, Tyler Johnson and let recent high draft picks develop to surround Bedard in a season or two. Patience not quick fix bandaids at this point.

dont see AZ needing/wanting johnson (and 5m hit/1 yr) to move up in the draft when they have 14 picks already

You missed the mark here my friend. Hawks are rebuilding, they aren't interested in acquiring older players, especially paying for them. They have vets to support rebuild and that's their only role on the team right now, so trading those vets (Tyler Johnson) and acquiring more makes zero sense. Hawks have no interest in competing this year, and probably not next season either.

As such, Hawks decline every trade with the exception of maybe the Washington trade, but Washington is unlikely to agree.
