with ottawa and buffalo rising, even with boston likely falling, i dont see this lineup making the playoffs

It will definitely be interesting to see what happens but I’m confident that Detroit will be very close to playoffs at least. Finally having a strong center-core will hopefully help Copp have a rebound season and just the amount of goals added to the forward core is impressive. The defense is improved a lot and the Reimer addition will most likely give them quite a few more wins alone by giving better relief for Husso

Sure maybe, if everyone is healthy. Every combination of those 5 guys for the 2nd and 3rd d pairs just range from mediocre to scary

the d core is improved and getting debrincat was really good but im not super confident in the centre depth. i think husso will bounce back but reimer will likely let down, so overall i predict they’ll move up a bit in the standings but stay in the mushy middle

It's mediocre, but I don't think we should complain when we had Oesterle, Hägg and Lindtröm all in the same lineup last seasontears of joy This is a big upgrade in just one offseason.
