So when I think of a succesful team, I think of a young team, but experienced. Also in order to keep a team together we have to be careful how much we spend, keep the salary cap low.

First things first, welcome smile. I'm hoping to get a little younger... I'd move the Sedins together in a package deal with 35% retention on each for a younger 2C/2LW... Players I really don't want to move are Arvidsson, Turris, Hoffman, Jones, Krug and Ekholm.

Looking to sign Darling for our goalie position and a RW in FA to play on the 1st line.

First offer that came in is Mcquaid for a pick

Ok so I love that sedins move idea, we can get better players than them for sure. Definently lets try that. Scott Darling is good, and a FA makes sense.

So if you can find a suitor for the Sedins that would be awesome. Just have to clear any move through me smile

Alright. I was also thinking of trying to get a young RHD so we can have 3 full D-lines

I'm thinking of maybe reacquiring Fabbro... but the price tag would be huge... maybe we can convince Calgary otherwise

Edit: I'm hopping offline for a little bit. Good luck on offers smile

Ward and Wilson for the Sedins at 50%... I think that's way too much in Vancouver's favour

Either of these interest you
Eriksson & Ward
For
Sedins 0% Retained

Or

Wilson, Ward & Rodin
For
Sedins 50% Retained

also this... not interested in either

Wilson plays 3rd line on a not very deep Nashville team... And Ward plays 4th line in SJ... Rodin is a bust. Not sure I see the value. The Sedins could each easily get 40 points next season.

Sedins @ 50%, Ryan Ellis, Pontus Aberg for JT Miller, Kevin Klein and Adam Tambellini --> thoughts on this trade?

Counter Offers I made:
Sedins @ 2.5M retain each (roughly 32% retain), Ellis, Aberg for Miller, Klein, Tambellini

Sedins @ 50%, Ellis, Aberg, Vancouver 5th 18 for Vesey, Miller and Klein

Would like some feedback on these

The third one is pretty good, the other 2 are less good, so lets try to get that trade going

I countered with Saros, Ellis, a 3rd, and the Twins for Zucc, Miller and Klein

Deal is now Saros, Ellis, a 5th, Aberg, Twins for Zucc, Miller, Klein

He's a friend of mine, and is currently at his cottage with family. You should hear from him by the end of the week (I guess he's been busy doing stuff at his cottage).
