Doubtful Washington moves him, I'd imagine they see him as their next Eller. Defensively sound 3rd line center potential, with the possibility to play up in the lineup if needed. His team control and relative discount in terms of contract probably keeps him from being moved any time soon.

The Shesterkin trade especially is a great example of why it's usually not a good idea to trade up past the 1st or 2nd round. Just make the picks.

Still haunted by that 2016 draft. I can't even be mad about passing on Thompson, but everyone shied away from Debrincat just because of his size. Man, what could've been
