Not enough for Hayton and Sens want to keep and need Kastelic anyway so that trade won't happen
Two firsts and Brannstrom is quite expensive but Buchnevich is worth it. Sens would really need to be able to extend him on a reasonable contract though

He brings more than just goals
You're right except that in the current cap crunch, you won't be able to get positive value for him. Next season as the cap rises and he'll have probably bounced back to being a defensive 30 ES pts forward and PK expert, then his value will be positive again.

with the cap going up i could see him being worth that
By the way, look what he did this summer :

Destroyed a 3v3 league where Suzuki, Letang, Perron, Dubois, etc play. 25 goals in 7 games lol

People don't put enough respect on defensive forwards to appreciate Joseph's value; no points, no value. If I'm OTT, I'm shopping Kubalik long before I let anyone go near Joseph.
A good portion of hockey fans don't know enough about hockey, it's a sport with a myriad of variables/details. For most cases, you have to play the game to really understand it, and need to invest a lot of time into it (I don't follow any other sport because hockey already takes a lot of free time). It's a very fast-paced sport and a lot happens all the time with the 12 players on the ice.
Joseph of 2021-22 is very valuable, 30 pts at ES/PK in only 69 games, good defensively at ES and Elite PK metrics.
And 100% on Kubalik, I found 6-7 arguments as to why it makes much more sense to trade him before Joseph. No argument for the opposite.
