Yep, 100% a habs fan. No leafs fan ever thought freddy anderson was a top 10 goalie, especially when his hips exploded

I thought you made your analysis through the use of statistics? This is a statistical fact! Like I said, slow down and take sometime to think! You look really silly right now!

Say hello to my little friend!

This is well known, not a great look for you but I appreciate the conviction as always!

You should actually read the article. It literally says they are not renewing his contract. But hey, if it makes you feel better

“I'd never been fired before,” Dubas told this year's graduates of his alma mater, Brock University, on Wednesday. “That was my first time, hopefully my last, but I'll probably get that same conversation again at some point. That's life and the way that it goes.”

Keep digging!

Yeah, let's take time to look into that top 10 goalie thing.
2022-2023? Samsonov was 7th
So Dubas got himself a top 10 goalie for nothing off the scrap pile, and he doesnt even need hip replacement

Weird how literally every single article uses "contract not renewed" as the lead in then eh? Well I guess if getting fired by the leafs means you such, then what does it mean when you get fired from a team that didnt even make the playoffs?

Samsonov in this year's playoffs:

9 GP, 4 Wins, .898%, 3.06 GAA

Freddy Andersen in this year's playoffs:

9 GP, 5 Wins, .927%, 1.86 GAA

The much healthier starters we acquired to avoid an injury prone Andersen -

Murray's playoffs stats this year:

-

Mrazek's playoff stats the year before:

-

I think you've embarrassed yourself enough, I'm going to call it a day.

I guess Dubas literally coming out and making a public speech where he talks about getting fired is not enough proof that he was fired eh?

Clearly there's no limit to your stupidity. All the best bud.

"CALGARY, Alberta -- The Calgary Flames and general manager Brad Treliving agreed to part ways after he held that job for nearly a decade. The team announced the move as mutual, along with assistant Don Maloney's promotion to president of hockey operations and interim GM."

Good chat, better luck next time.

huh, weird how not returning after your contract expired means fired for dubas but not treliving......weiiiiiiiiiird. You know their contracts would have expired at the same time right? And that Treliving's departure was a month before Dubas' right?

Dubas had to hire himself as the GM of the Penguins considering no one wants to work for him bahahah 🤭🤭🤭

Dubas decided it was best for him to take the role of GM for a little while. I am sure he will hire someone in 2-3 seasons but with how much he had to do this off-season there was no way he would have been able to hire a GM and accomplish all he did

I didn't come up with the quote, I'm just relaying what Coops said. He could have listed 20 other reasons why they didn't beat Columbus but the just pointed out how impactful Anderson was. I would much rather have a straight line player and a guy that can hit then someone who is afraid of their own shadow

Go for Marcus Foligno then. He makes more reasonable money, can chip in offensively, and is much tougher than Josh. Will cost far less in a trade and will do the exact same stuff. Only thing he doesn't have is foot speed.

I'm a huge JA fan, the calculators hate him which I find funny. Fast and speedy guy that can lay the body and fight when needed. He is my type of player

Even Jon Cooper recently on a podcast said the reason they lost to Columbus is that they had no answer to Josh Anderson. Remind you that Cooper has two cups

That a great take!

The hate for Anderson is unfair. Yes is contract is not a bargain but he is a lethal weapon. Every single team would like to have a players of that caliber. He got tremendous speed, he check so hard that even Dahlin gave up on the play to avoid getting stamp in the board. That is something that money can’t quantify. When a 220 guy’s is coming at you at full speed, not many defenseman is brave. They rush the play to protect themselves. He can score goal, since joining the league he average a 22 goal per 82 games. really don’t think Montreal want to trade him unless they get a significant return. He doesn’t hurt them since they don’t have cap problems for at least the 2 next seasons. Then Gallagher will be the odd man and cap will have raise to over 90 millions. Suddenly his deal look as bad as it is.

Yes, having elite forwards is a good thing and having hilariously over paid 3rd liners that you play as 1st liners is bad, dont worry, im sure the habs will have a forward as good as the leafs 4th best one some day

Our youngsters already played in a Stanley Cup final! Did your top 4 ever go that far?!

You can get big fast physical guys for a lot less than $5.5M though. And some of them can actually play hockey, too.

I'm not a Leafs fan so honestly I don't care if Treliving ruins that team, but this is a really bad move.

You worry about the Oilers and the lack of depth, defence, and goaltending and I'll worry about the Leafs smile

Avs decline because they aren't giving up a third for Jarnkrok with that cap and term. They would be putting themselves into the position TOR are in. Therefore none of this works.
