As far as Monahan goes, if he can return that much that'll mean he was able to play without injuries. I'm thinking he may strech more a 2nd round pick for teams barely in the playoffs (without the 3rd in return) and your 1st vs 3rd for a team that actually looks like they are going for it. So it's not crazy to think a team would pay a 1st for him if those conditions are met, being they would give up 30th to 33rd pick..

As far as the Keller trade goes, I don't think Gorton and Hugues plans are to give up 1st picks during their rebuilding process. While Keller may be worth the money he's making being that close to a 90+ points season (Which Habs definitively need) it would be crazy to think ARZ would give him up given they have so many picks at this point that could develop into a well built team around him.

And I don't think a 50% retention on Anderson would be in the plans either. Too long.. Maybe if he had a max of another season left, but not another three.

At least you give enough to make these a good "I'll think about it!" for the teams...
