I assume he'll be the third string until Daws is healthy (at which point Utica can afford for Kallgren or Daws to be called up) and play for the Wolves most of the year

He hasn't been an NHL goalie for 4 years, but it makes sense for him to go back to the place where he had some success. I don't know where he'll end up on the depth chart, 3, 4 or 5, but it's a 2-way contract so if he ends up as an AHL backup it's still ok.

Nope! He was signed with Chicago in the AHL
