Those first two trades massively favor Toronto, not too mention you simply just don’t trade players away u signed 2 months ago like the 3rd trade

Since the Bruins are cap compliant already, I can't think of a single reason why they'd ever trade Freddy for Lafferty straight up, let alone with another player thrown in. I think Freddy's point totals will regress next year, but I still think he will be a solid 3rd line player who seems to have found how to play with toughness without the dumb penalties.

I am still interested to see what the Leafs do to become compliant though!

I would not give up Kurashev and a 2nd round pick for that combined package being offered from the Leafs, the fact you threw in a 1st round pick is laughable.

I agree that trading away a player you signed before he even gets on the ice is a bad look for a franchise, but Domi would be happier than a pig in NJ over that move! tears of joy

Hawks decline instantly. Exactly which of those 5 players going to the Hawks are worth a 1st or a 2nd. Hawks wouldn't trade Kurashev alone for those guys.

Hawks counter with Zaitsev, Mrazek, and Blackwell for the pile of mediocre players you offered plus your 2025 3rd round pick.

Domi is better…but Devils are happy with with McLeod in the 4C role with an inexpensive AAV
