If that's the case, why would Toronto trade him then?Hawks would want the pick over Lilypad. Look at their trade history under Kyle from Chicago. Traded Cat, Dach, Kaner, Domi and McCabe for picks. No prospects coming back to Hawks. Kyle prefers to draft his own guys.

Bro Brodie and lily are better defenders why would we add both of them to that trade and then a 3rd Jesus there should be a first coming back to Toronto at least

In what world is Ferraro an improvement?????
Leafs were 7th in GAA and 9th in Goals For. Why is there fantasy that the Leafs Dmen are so bad.
Players wiht M NTC won't have bottom feeders on their trade list. Horrid trades for the Leafs,,,,,now and for the future.

How can you debate that when Murphy has been on Chi and Arz. Neither one of those guys (Brodie,Lily)can clear out the front of the net. This was our issue in playoffs. The D are too small and playoffs is a lot of small area battles. We got exploited against a bigger, physical panthers team.

Ferraro is 24 playing on SJ. Can’t compare numbers. Karlsson was a -31 with over 100 points. Tough stay at home D that blocks shots. Again we got dominated in front of the net and in the corners. It’s an improvement for what the Leafs need. Niemela will definitely have more upside in the future but the Leafs have a 3-4 year gap here where they need to win now before the Leafs top players start to decline.
