1.
EDM
  1. 2019 3rd round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
rights to Duclair
pick is conditional if Duke doesn't play at least 20 games with the Oilers
ARI
  1. Sekera, Andrej
  2. 2018 4th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Despite being hurt Reggie is still a top four defenseman on most teams. If he doesn't play in at least 25 games then the Oilers send the pick
2.
EDM
  1. Jenner, Boone
  2. 2019 1st round pick (CBJ)
Additional Details:
PICK IS CONDITIONAL
If the Oilers do not resign Boone or if they sign him for more then 5.5 million. If between 4.5-5.5 it becomes a 2nd rounder and if 4.5 or less a third rounder
CBJ
  1. Jones, Caleb
  2. Nugent-Hopkins, Ryan ($1,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Assuming Boone signs for probably somewhere between 4.4-5.5 the Oilers are essentially paying 6.5 while CLB pays 5 for Nuge. I feel like Nuge and Panarin would look good together and Caleb will keep Seth in Columbus for years to come.

No I didn't he's not a RFA until next season maybe keep Duclair instead of Neal but in this case I would let Maroon go there's still enough money for him

If I'm New Jersey I offer sheet Draisaitl $15M per until the lockout season or for 8 years.

He would still have to agree to go to New Jersey. Then Edmonton takes there first round picks for the next 4 years, Drai probably isn't enough to push them into the players and they with no cap space when players such as Hischier and Mcleod need to be signed Edmonton comes in and says thank you very much

Not necessarily, he could accept it knowing Edmonton would match it, but as a fall back be going to a franchise with an elite goaltender, elite LW, a #1 center coming up, and a bright future and they could easily turn everything around, remember they won the draft lottery they didn't finish last. With the money they have they could get a good pairing of D's in FA. Easily make the wildcard in the East, the Metro is going to be weaker next year, as will the Atlantic. Edmonton has had plenty of 1st round picks, how many of them not named McDavid or Draisaitl can you name that actually changed this teams fortunes? And people think he should make $8M? That's insane he's done just as much as Connor has done, in the playoffs McDavid was just coming out of his shell while Draisaitl was tearing it up. Edmonton wouldn't be where they are without Draisaitl. Draisaitl's gonna get paid.

Edmonton won't match plain and simple Hall was traded for Larsson whos helped stabilize this team. Klefboom was a first rounder and they're both on the top pairing. Nurse is well on his way to being a top four defenceman and Puljujarvi will blossom. Nuge and Ebs have also been useful players. Your kidding yourself if you think New Jersey is a better Team then either New York team, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Washington and Philly. New Jersey can sign Shattenkirk and Drai but as I said they will be screwwed over when Mcleod, Speers, Hischier, Mcleod, Santini, and Zacha need new contracts. Could they push these tteams with Drai? yes. Easily? Nope

Columbus and Arizona aren't making those deals just to take cap dumps for Oilers. Oilers want to severely overpay Draistatl good, but don't expect cap relief from other teams.
Arizona can spend 5.5m to get a Dman without giving up assets. And RNH isn't worth a 3m premium and a 1st rounder over Jenner.

Columbus trade isn't a cap dump it's more if the Duchene trade falls through. Arizona needs to make cap floor and looks like they want to win now. Duke has been poorly used down there and could use a fresh start
