Colorado gets a backup goalie to replace the injured Francouz and Calgary gets a right shot forward prospect.

My only question is, who the h is Jean-Luc Foudy haha. Could we get better in a Vladar trade?

Nobody special but he's a right shot center. A little on the small side but not tiny and close to NHL ready with 2 years left on his contract. He'd probably play for the Wranglers freeing up 2 million in cap space for the Flames (to call up Wolf and someone else) but he could get called up at some point too.

I like it but I'd rather get a pick and draft a player than him. We have lots of player in the AHL and NHL now that it'll be hard for players to get play time so some would have to go further down into the ECHL with Rapid City.

Me too but Colorado doesn't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick this year and they won't give up their 1st for Vladar. They don't have a 2nd in 2025 either.

Might have to be 2026 but other than that it would be a bunch of late picks
