Leafs pass. Value may be fine but Brodie is our best defensive dman. He is better than Myers and we need him.

I doubt the Canucks would move Silovs right now, and they definitely aren’t giving up that much for Brodie

I admit I know nothing about Hirose but 2 2nds to upgrade Myers to Brodie is ridiculous.

You can't trade Myers. He's barely an NHLer, if he was double retained I wouldn't want to pay a 4th for him. Brodie is the leafs best defensive defenceman, to think they would swap him for a 7th defenceman and pay that guy 4 million still is absolutely offensive lol

You are trading your only hope of semi decent backup and overpaying to help the leafs. It’s not taking advantage

In what world does that Colorado trade make sense? My goodness.

They have 2 that are able to be a back up. Also Behrens was better than Luke Hughes in their WJC. Will be getting a bigger return when the time comes

Justus Annunen has played 4 games in his NHL Career. Silovs has played 5. Please explain why we would trade a top college prospect and a forward with NHL games under his belt for Silovs when Annunen is there for us to use.

I’d rather claim a random vet off waivers than make that awful trade. Not to mention Annunen being about as proven as Silovs.
