Had one of the greatest coaching tenures with one team all time. Never had a single loss with them.

overrated coach imo. won with an insanely stacked detroit team then hasn't done diddly squat since. also has a brutal off ice track record of past players hating him. good riddance.

He’s done in the NHL. I highly doubt any team will ever sign him for an NHL head coach. Maybe he becomes some sort of assistant coach, but even then

Yeah. It'd be a PR nightmare if any team brought him into their room. He's finished

The Jackets need to sign Biz to a deal worth the rest of their cap space for the year just out of thanks. He has single handedly changed the course of your franchise. Start lobbying for a statue of him

Biz single handedly saved an entire NHL organization from losing half its stars within a year.

I bet he has no interest in returning to the NHL after this either. He doesn't need the money and definitely doesn't need the witch hunt that would ensue.

He will just spend time with his family.

Well, that didn't take very long. Wonder how that sets the tone for the Jackets season? Camp hasn't started yet, so if they can find someone fast (or if they like Vincent) it should be okay.

Anyone give Bruce a call? I hear the cooking is good in Ohio.

How many ppl just threw away the source cause it was Biz and believed a few players like Boone Jenner whom probably didnt want to ruffle feathers whether he was being truthful or not.

Asking hockey players to throw your coach under the bus isn't an easy thing. Hockey media and hockey fans really took an L here by dismissing the source and perpetuating the power dynamic between hockey coach and player. This is how the Kyle Beach situation was swept under the rug for years and ppl misunderstanding the Logan Mailloux photos scandal. Facts are put to the side for bias.
