Devils have no need to quantity over quality.

lol, but both Allen and Anderson are close to negative assets, so NSH doesn't give you Askarov and a 1st for essentially Mallioux and negative assets. Nemec is a former 2nd overall selection, it would likely take a core-piece to pry him out of NJ

Gauthier is viewed as untouchable by the flyers. You need to give more than an arm and a leg, to the point where you'd be just a head.

I mean, Dvorak at 50% is at least somewhat interesting, but Ottawa's giving up way more upside, and if Ottawa's including Kubalik anyway, they're still better off just using that Kubalik money for Pinto. Money is the entire reason for the hold up, they don't want to move him and he doesn't want out.

Canucks easily decline. Not only is Myers cheaper than Gallagher, but he has 1 year as opposed to 4 while also playing a position the Canucks need. Canucks have absolutely no need for another winger, especially with an albatross of a contract like Gallagher’s. In Vancouver, Gallagher would either be a $6.5 million dollar 4th liner who takes playing time from a young guy, or he’d be a $6.5 million healthy scratch. You could attach 2 firsts and the Canucks still pass, with our needs and current cap situation Gallagher is the absolute last player on earth Vancouver would be interested in.

Interested in Kidney and the 2nds, but don't want to trade Pinto

I would do it for Joshua Roy and the Habs first in 2024 (top-5 protected only)

    As a Nashville fan,

i like Mailloux and i think he has been cleared to play in the NHL. We could use a RHD prospect of his ability.

Allen isnt useful to Nashville with Saros and Lankinen already in net and Allen would be waived just eating up cap and salary.

I hate Anderson's contract. He cant stay healthy enough to break 40 points. I want zero part of that.

So an easy no from Nashville

Nemec and Reinbacher would have been fun. I also wonder if we would be better with Lambert/Snuggurud instead of Mesar ... On the other hand, would the Devils have drafted Slafkovsky ?!

All I know is that the devils list was down to two guys weeks before the draft. Most of suspected it was those two Slovaks…but could have have been Jiricek too.

I would have been happy with Nemec (wasn't into Slaf at all).
