I can’t see us getting a 1st+ for Boeser unless he has a major bounce back season

I’d keep Garland rather than sign Beauvillier

Petey and Hronek both get 1-1.5M more

If either of those trades were remotely possible atleast one of them would have happened by now.

Don't get me wrong, I like Boeser and at 26 he's starting his peek. But I think that at this time, Habs would keep the cap space in order to take a salary for the current year but get an interesting round pick in return. Which means that if Vancouver wanted to trade Boaser to the Habs Hugues would want a pick back not go to them.

It's not that Boeser doesn't deserve a pay back to VAN, but would mostly go to a team going for the cup at TDL and have the space next year for his salary. Is he worth the 6.5M$ yes. Just don't see the Habs doing this pay-out for him at this time.

But he's worth the 1st and 3rd picks for sure for a cup contender team.

Take out the second and Detroit says maybe? Not really much room or need for Garland.

It's been widely reported (by your own media) that both of these players have been shopped for the better part of a year and teams have told them they would need a "significant" sweetener to trade either one. Has anything changed besides teams filling out their rosters and their remaining cap space? Without a huge uptick in production neither one of these guys is tradable at their salaries.
