This doesn't solve Ottawa's cap issue. Pageau makes 5M by himself, your Pinto contract + Joseph is 5.2M. That's + 200k but - 1 roster player

The idea with moving Jospeh is to free up the cap space to sign Pinto. Moving both doesnt help the team at all. Add to that the fact that Pinto is considerably younger, cheaper and possibly better than Pager at this point... trade is definitely not getting accepted.

The sole reason why the Sens would be contemplating trading Joseph (if they are at all) is to create enough cap space to sign Pinto, not to trade him

All these Pinto trades are getting ridiculous, stupid medias lol but I guess they’re doing their job and generate discussion

Double no from Ottawa: not fair value for Pinto, and doesn't solve the problem that's keeping Pinto off the roster right now. Combined with the fact that the Isles are dollar-in/dollar-out at this point, and there's no feasible way for this one to happen.
