No from Winnipeg. They're not retaining on Scheifele, waiting 2 drafts for a 1st and taking Coyle as an uncompensated 2 year cap dump. Boston does it, no questioned asked.

Hawks decline, they don’t need another d-man.

You are vastly undervaluing Coyle

No, I said he was a cap dump. Fortunately Winnipeg won't have to worry about him as he won't waive.

Make it a second at least for Perron. We will have any interest in Zboril and Boston should keep him as he is cheap and seems to be improving. Also getting picks in 2026 isn't the most ideal for us, I bet we get something better from a different team.

He’s not undervaluing Coyle. He thinks they will get more for Scheifele. Maybe they will.

I personally prefer not to trade Lysell right now. His game translates to the NHL with players who can feed him when he creates separation. Talent wise, he has great ability if he puts it together. He should have the opportunity this year

I like Scheifele, but I doubt there is a team that signs him long term and this opportunity is pretty big.

Either way, Coyle says no. He’s likely worth more to Boston than other teams. He’s a very good third line center.

Hawks decline because this makes no sense. Deadline sellers don't trade players with retention to get back another rental. Picks, prospects. That is what Hawks will be looking for.

^ ^ THIS ^ ^ Unless there is some backdoor handshake deal to be executed after the season ends that makes up the difference, there is zero incentive for CHI to do this.
