The Flyers have a lot of mid to good level prospects. What they lack is top end prospects. So I don't think they'd trade one of their two top end prospects to add more mid to good level prospects and a couple of draft picks. Especially when Philly are finally rebuilding.

To put things into perspective, would you like this trade if Philly went to MTL and offered the following: Bobby Brink, Elliot Desnoyers, Olle Lycksell, and a 1st (FLA), 2nd, and 3rd for Juraj Slafkovsky or Lane Hudson?

Yeah and it makes zero sense because like the guy said nobody wants quantity and the flyers have plenty of quantity they need real quality.

Gauthier was the only untouchable before Michkov, so even if you offered more quality the Flyers are likely to shut you out. He was listed as the 9th best prospect, so the price for him would be practically unpayable.

Only thing that maybe gets flyers to consider is Slafkovsky.
