But probably necessary. Not going to clear $3m x 3 for free.

I might be a bit more interested if Raddysh wasn't on the 2018 Canadian WJ team.

The waiver crop this season is going to be super interesting, but Im not sure the Leafs will look to waive Lafferty (atleast to start with)

As far as I know, no one from that team has been charged in a crime…or even named as a suspect.

In any case, we aren't Tampa.

We aren't wasting draft picks like they're pieces of toilet paper.

We aren't spending a 1st to move Joseph.

Lafferty is skating with Tavares and they just got him at the deadline, doubt they waive him.

There's a chance but doubtful. Leafs mainly acquired McCabe in that trade. Lafferty was a nice, 2nd addition in that trade. If a guy like Robertson and a guy like Holmberg have amazing camps, and Lafferty isn't great, he could get waived or traded. But I do think the highest probability is him being with the Leafs to start the year.

Kings won't waive Bjornfot. You can have Englund if you want. He's going to start in the AHL.

Hawks won't be claiming any LD. Those spots are for korchinski, vlasic, kaiser, phillips, and Roos to battle for. Lafferty seems unnecessary if they also get Joseph in a trade. Now if there's any RD that end up on waivers the hawks should be all over it

Alec Regula, Reilly Walsh, Phil Kemp, Lassi Thomson, Dylan Coghlan, Cal Foote….are possible RHD waiver candidates.

The pens have no reason to waive Smith. He is cheap enough and versatile enough to keep up. They don't have a ton of competition for that 7th D spot.

Current irrelevant depth chart. Love the site, but these are the same guys who said last summer that the Pens would waive POJ and keep waiver ineligible Smith on the roster. And now they have Mark Friedman above Smith, lol.

I used them since it’s an objective source, even though it may not be most reliable.

He's on waivers lol. He did not look good in the first couple preseason games.
