I’d rather have Lysell and the 2nd and I’m not that high on Lysell like everyone else. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No interest at all in Kuzy and having to play Zboril is painful.

The trade value might be close (not sure what Caps fans think), but this can't happen due to the cap. My first reaction was that the Caps probably wouldn't retain that much salary for two years, but then I also noticed that this Bruins roster is over the cap to the point where you'd need to run a 21-man roster. I think the Caps have their own cap issues as well, and if they trade Kuzy, one of the goals is probably to alleviate that. For the Bruins, it seems better to just play the year out with what they have, and this trade probably doesn't help the Caps enough this year to make it worth the pain of that much retention next year.

Caps decline. Can’t afford that retention and the forward group is screwed for this season and next if we lose a top 6 center without one coming back or a plan to replace him.
