No chance the Canucks do that. Management is high on Podkolzin, and he’s still a very solid prospect. Kovacevic was a waiver claim last year. He’s improved, but he’s not worth more than a 4th/3rd. It would take at least a a 1st of value to convince Vancouver to part with Podkolzin, Kovacevic simply isn’t enough to part with a guy they’ve already invested a top 10 pick in.

Ylönen is not waivers exempt so the Sens would have to keep him

I mean, if they have no choice I would do it but Reinhardt looks pretty good tonight. I think he could be an efficient 4th liner. Weird because I always assumed he was going to be one of the very few misses in that legendary 2020 Sens draft. He might end up playing in the NHL

Not saying he has value but I don't want to move Joseph, I want to keep him. It'd be a mistake to pay and move him. I hope Dorion makes the right choice here

Podkolzin has considerably higher value than Kovacevic. Canucks are still very high on him

I like reinhardt. he seems to be a bit of a jack of all trades. i think he'll crack a roster at some point, whether it's in ottawa or somewhere else. what an insane draft. a draft that so many teams messed up on because of COVID, ottawa nailed. unreal. Dorion scouting masterclass.

The 2020 draft happened on October 6th 2020, which was 7 months after Covid began but yeah. It's more 2021 where they totally missed out.

Note that the director of scouting was Trent Mann, a guy hired by Bryan Murray in 2011. But some credit to Dorion as well as he makes the final decisions
