if i am the sens i would prefer one of: crookshank, sokolov, reinhardt, or jarventie over Bailey.

but im not a sens fan so it doesn't really matter

I think if Joesph and a 2nd was enough this would be done. Reportedly Brier wants a first with Pinto or a prospect that was a 1st rounder, the ask has been reported as Boucher.

I am on the fence about Baily, he could be a great depth player to have but one of the younger guys would have to have a weak camp.

I don't think it means anything. It wouldn't surprise me if they have no intention to move Joseph at all. He had a great summer (destroyed a 3v3 league with Suzuki, Letang, Dubois, Perron, etc) and is dialed in to bounce back. Sens talked to him to motivate him too

We are just 1 year removed from acquiring him (and giving fan favorite Nick Paul to get him), they have been high on Joseph for quite some time and extended him 4 years just a year ago too

There's other ways to get cap compliant and IMO it will have do with an injury (Sens or another team)

Are you implying that to get rid of Joseph , the real GM of Philly not some imposter, wants Pinto and a 1st + Joseph?
