If its a cap move you won't be receiving a draft pick. Joseph is a serviceable player being paid a little bit too much, amd while Branny seems to fly under most people's radar I don't think he'd be enough to get the Flyers to take Joseph's salary.
Honestly just add the 3rd to the Flyers and either receive FC or an ahl player and it'll be a deal, but from what I've heard is Joseph's been pretty good in the preseason so maybe he'll be viewed as less of a dump.
The problem is that from a hockey standpoint, giving up Brannstrom, Joseph and a 3rd for FREE would be extremely stupid. And they have shown just that last night, almost beat the Habs near NHL lineup with a mostly depth/AHL lineup. Joseph was a monster all over the ice and Brannstrom made so many smart plays in his 30 mins played.
Yes it's pre-season but these 2 guys are clearly good at hockey. I'd be ok trading Brannstrom for a pick (even if that's a stupid return) because it would allow the Sens to not stupidly lose Lassi Thomson on waivers and anyway, they have to trade Brannstrom in the near future since they'll have to make room for Kleven
All of this talk unfortunately reminds me how bad Pierre Dorion is at his job...
Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - JBD
Chychrun - Thomson
Roll the 3 pairs equally at ES and give special teams and game situations to the Top-4 guys, of course. Give at least half a season to Kleven in the AHL and then go from there (injuries happen anyway)

Thats cause you actually believe the rumour that joseph needs a high pick to be moved lol
Even if the rumor is "TRUE", it doesn't mean anything. They could be asking for Jake Sanderson if they want, doesn't mean it will happen in the real world. It only becomes concrete IF Dorion pays it.
