Miro Makes The Team

Created by: brady_t12
Team: 2023-24 Washington Capitals
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 29, 2023
Published: Sep. 29, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Team looks very good if Miro keeps up the intensity. I think Backstrom would thrive being stuck between two heavy-hitting and high-intensity wingers. McMichael gets a chance to play center on the PK, wing at five-on-five. Mantha gets time with Strome and Oshie, who have all looked good together in the past but haven't gotten much of a chance to play as a line.

I like it, but personally I would leave Iorio in Hersey for the year and bring up HHA to be the 7th d-man while Edmundson recovers. And most likely waive NAK for a cheaper option.

Makes sense. Honestly Iorio is NHL-ready if you ask me. Wish we had left the cap space open instead of extending TVR, as great as he is. Iorio as the number 6 would've been perfect.

I don't know, I think he could really benefit from another year in Hershey. He and Johansen just looked rough last night, I think one more year of full playing time (instead of spot starts as the 7D) would be better for all involved.
