Sure but why would Anaheim who are 4 years from even sniffing playoffs do that? They would be 50% through their star players contract before they even start to contend

He'll probably get a lot more after the bridge which won't help their cap

He may get 9-10M similar raise that point and Tkachuk got. But it's about the term. You sign Zegras for 2-3 years now then 8 after for a bit higher cost, but in 2 and 3 years you sign Leo and McTavish to more team friendly long term deals right off their ELC's. Then you have everyone for the full window of contention

Ah I thought I was responding to the other person.

Who is being offered 3-4M? Certainly not Zegras. He isn't going to sign for less than 6.5M on a bridge and 8M+ on a long term deal.
